We are a rapidly growing software company based in New Zealand, delivering smart logistics software to the transportation sector. Our SaaS software is cloud based, industry specialised and uses AI-driven optimisation to save time, miles and costs. With offices in Auckland, Melbourne, Denver and Atlanta, we stay closely connected to our customers and the industries we support.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our New Zealand team. You will work on all areas of the platform and all stages of software development, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical commercial experience.
  • 5 years of commercial experience with software development with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including but not limited to: TypeScript, Java, Scala, C/C++, Python
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and cloud-hosted architecture

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build scalable and maintainable software as part of our application team
  • Collaborate with the business team to deliver great solutions for our customers
  • Represent the Engineering team during discovery and scoping meetings with key customers
  • Deliver day-to-day improvements to the product used by our customers

Requirements

  • Work with cross-functional teams
  • Experience in cloud native serverless applications (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure)
  • Experience in one or more modern web frameworks (Vue, React, Angular)
  • Experience with monorepo development
  • Experience with backend development (Node.js, Java, C#, Go)
  • UX knowledge
  • Writing and maintaining documentation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organisational skills
