Full-Stack Developer

The Environment

The team operates with a flat structure and an agile mindset, meaning you'll move quickly, work across a varied backlog, and interact regularly with senior stakeholders. If you like being close to the business and seeing the direct outcomes of your work, this is that kind of role.

AI is actively used within the development practice to accelerate delivery, and the team is exploring further automation and data interfacing use cases. An open mind toward AI tools is a must.

The Role

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with high potential to extend further. Your initial focus will be approximately 80% backend development, working through a meaningful development backlog and increasing overall output within the team.

This is not a mentoring position. You need to be confident in your fundamentals and ready to contribute from day one.

Must-have's

• Strong backend development experience using Laravel and PHP
• Front-end capability in React
• Solid skills in SQL and SQL querying
• Exposure to, or, working knowledge of Power BI
• Strong communication with an excellent grasp of written and spoken English

Nice to have's:

• Comfortable working in legacy system environments and understanding integration constraints
• A genuine interest in AI tooling and its practical application in development

Working Environment: This role is based in the Auckland CBD, offering hybrid working and carparking on-site (which is available on a rostered basis). The team offers flexibility around in-office hours to support personal commitments.
