Job Purpose:
Take end-to-end ownership of the design, development, and optimization of cloud-native platforms and applications. You will architect and implement scalable serverless solutions using AWS Amplify, Lambda, and related services, ensuring robust, secure, and highly available environments. Your technical leadership will bridge business needs and production code, delivering hands-on solutions that advance our digital ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions, owning the architecture and technical delivery.
- Design, develop, and maintain serverless backend services using Python (AWS Lambda, Amplify) to support high-volume data ingestion, processing, and platform operations.
- Develop and evolve user interfaces with React.js, ensuring seamless integration with cloud services for global users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud connectivity and architectural challenges (VPNs, Routing, API limits) to ensure high availability and self-healing capabilities.
- Leverage AI coding assistants and modern development tools to accelerate code delivery, documentation, and testing, focusing efforts on impactful cloud logic.
- Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to streamline development workflows, manage cloud resources, and continuously improve platform resilience and scalability.
- Implement and maintain data pipelines and integration tasks relevant to cloud platform operation, excluding BI and analytics functions.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience in cloud software development or a related role.
- At least 7 years of professional experience as a Data Platform Senior Analyst or in a similar role.
- Expertise in Python for backend logic, automation, and cloud-native application development.
- Advanced experience with AWS Serverless architectures (Amplify, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, RDS).
- Proficient with React.js for building and maintaining cloud-integrated user interfaces.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Demonstrated autonomy, technical ownership, and a strong problem-solving mindset.
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) are a plus.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field. Equivalent practical experience is welcome. Relevant cloud certifications are considered a strong asset.
