Position: Software Engineer
Type: Contract
Compensation: $27/hr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week
Role Responsibilities
- Contribute to product-level software engineering tasks across real-world codebases and development workflows.
- Write, debug, test, and maintain scalable and clean code across assigned projects.
- Collaborate with distributed teams to support development, optimization, and implementation tasks.
- Analyze software issues and contribute to improving application performance and reliability.
- Work with version control systems and follow standard software development practices.
- Support AI-related engineering initiatives through coding, evaluation, and technical problem-solving.
Requirements
- 1+ year of professional or equivalent hands-on software engineering experience.
- Experience contributing to product-level codebases through internships, full-time roles, or significant projects.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, etc.
- Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Exposure to debugging, testing, and writing maintainable code.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and standard software development workflows.
- Experience working with human data is a plus.
