Position: Software Engineer

Compensation: $27/hr

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10-40 hrs/week

Role Responsibilities

• Contribute to product-level software engineering tasks across real-world codebases and development workflows.
• Write, debug, test, and maintain scalable and clean code across assigned projects.
• Collaborate with distributed teams to support development, optimization, and implementation tasks.
• Analyze software issues and contribute to improving application performance and reliability.
• Work with version control systems and follow standard software development practices.
• Support AI-related engineering initiatives through coding, evaluation, and technical problem-solving.

Requirements

• 1+ year of professional or equivalent hands-on software engineering experience.
• Experience contributing to product-level codebases through internships, full-time roles, or significant projects.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C++, JavaScript, etc.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Exposure to debugging, testing, and writing maintainable code.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and standard software development workflows.
• Experience working with human data is a plus.
