The Accounts Executive is responsible for supporting the organization’s day-to-day accounting and finance operations to ensure accurate record-keeping, timely processing of transactions, and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. This role focuses on handling accounts receivable and payable functions, maintaining financial records, assisting with reporting, and supporting smooth financial operations across departments to ensure the company’s financial integrity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
A detail-oriented and analytical finance professional who is proactive, organized, and results-driven, capable of handling financial data accurately, supporting day-to-day accounting operations, and assisting in timely reporting. He / she must demonstrate strong technical accounting knowledge, integrity, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines and supporting cross-functional teams.
- Support the full range of Accounts Receivable (AR) duties, including preparing invoices, verifying sales, managing month-end closing, and reconciling accounts.
- Support the full range of Accounts Receivable (AR) functions, including preparing invoices, verifying sales transactions, assisting with month-end closing, and reconciling customer accounts.
- Prepare and process various documents, such as Credit Invoices, Cash Invoices, and handle ad-hoc sales transactions.
- Track and monitor collections and payments and update the aging report for the Sales team’s follow-up.
- Reconcile outstanding payments, resolve billing disputes, address discrepancies, and respond to related queries with internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with stock management, including tracking daily stock movements and preparing monthly and year-end stock take reports.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) and generate monthly purchasing reports.
- Support Accounts Payable (AP) functions, including verifying and preparing payments, issuing cheques, and maintaining AP listings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Bilingual candidates with proficiency in Chinese preferred so as to liase with our Chinese counterparts.
