Account Executive, Mid-Market

Location: New York City (On-site – 5 days in office)

Compensation: $100k – $125k Base | $200k – $250k OTE (50/50 Split) | Equity Package Included


Our client is looking for a high-performing Account Executive to join their Mid-Market team in NYC. This is a technical, consultative sales role where you will be responsible for hunting new business and demonstrating the value of automated payment solutions to sophisticated finance teams.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, specifically focusing on cloud-based financial technology.
  2. Lead discovery and technical validation calls in tight collaboration with Pre-Sales Engineers.
  3. Navigate complex organizations to build buy-in with CFOs, Controllers, and VPs of Finance.
  4. Clearly articulate how the software integrates with mid-market ERP systems such as NetSuite, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics.


Requirements

  1. Minimum 5+ years of experience selling Software-as-a-Service.
  2. You must be comfortable explaining cloud architecture and subscription-based ROI.
  3. Direct experience working with Pre-Sales or Solutions Engineers to close complex deals.
  4. SaaS experience is applicable but experience in FinTech, Payments, or ERP sales is highly preferred.
  5. This role is 100% in-office in New York City (5 days per week).
