Purpose of the role
The Campaign Director of Media Strategy will use their extensive knowledge in media and public relations, content creation/storytelling, thought leadership, media messaging, and senior executive profiling to create unified media campaigns. Leading the creation of unique story angles and planning media strategies across channels, the Director is responsible for ensuring that all elements of the media plan are working together effectively and are delivering against expectations and goals.

Key Responsibilities And Tasks
- Work with client leads and account teams to develop creative, results-driven campaigns that meet the clients’ objectives; assess the campaigns’ effectiveness and fine tune accordingly
- Help teams to identify news opportunities (news jacking) and develop content in real time
- Work with account teams to come up with strong storytelling angles/editorial content that is fresh, relevant and newsworthy
- Incorporate new media platforms, understanding how to leverage these to achieve the overall communications objectives
- Leverage media relationships to accomplish objectives
- Drive knowledge of, and relationships with, the media
- Develop media pitching strategies and coach account teams to pitch stories successfully
- Develop strong relationships with clients, acting as counsel and providing added-value strategic consultancy to help foster client retention and growth
- Help run executive profiling programs, including media training and messaging sessions with senior/C-suite clients
- Recommend media strategy and content for RFIs and pitches
- Lead internal media strategy training sessions
- Be a collaborative, encouraging and supportive member of the US team
