Key Responsibilities
- Execute a go-to-date market sales strategy to grow market share and revenue from new and existing customers.
- Sales Hunter emphasis to close new business from new customers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with a focus on high-value accounts.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
- Develop and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and mater service agreements to accounts, ensuring thorough understanding of our company’s services and value propositions.
- Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets.
- Analyze sales data and key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to achieve sales targets.
- Travel to meet with potential and existing clients, additionally participate in trade shows and conferences.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in sales within the logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry.
- Experience in nationwide and final mile “Big and Bulky” products.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Strong understanding of domestic freight forwarding, trucking, warehousing, and other logistics services.
- Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Current book of business a real plus.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Physical requirements include the ability to sit and stand for several hours at a time, walk, reach, bend, stoop, stretch, lift, push, transport, and move up to 25 pounds and to talk and hear.
- Manual dexterity and visual acuity are needed to operate normal office equipment, such as a computer, telephone and copier. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Work is performed in an indoor office environment and involves frequent contact with customers, vendors, employees, and the public
- Occasional visits to local warehouse may be required
- Some weekend and evening hours may be required
