Full Stack Software Developer

We're working with a fast-growing UK SaaS technology company building data-driven digital products on this exciting opportunity.

This is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role where you will shape the next generation of customer-facing platforms using a modern AWS-based microservices stack. You will drive technical excellence across a squad of 10+ engineers, balancing architecture design with heavy-hitting code delivery in a fast-paced CI/CD environment.

The Role

• Lead the technical delivery for a high-performing squad, overseeing system architecture, domain modelling, and full-stack development.
• Architect and build complex Node.js microservices and frontend experiences using TypeScript, JavaScript, and Vue.js.
• Tackle complex engineering challenges by building proof-of-concepts, spikes, and scalable data solutions with SQL Server, Redis, and Snowflake.
• Drive DevSecOps best practices and influence the wider engineering function on tooling, performance, and security standards.
• Partner with Product Managers to break down high-level requirements into deliverable technical epics and user stories.

• Over 10 years of professional software engineering experience with at least 5+ years focused on TypeScript and Node.js.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and designing large-scale, production-grade SaaS platforms on AWS.
• Expert knowledge of Clean Code principles (SOLID), modern design patterns, and building highly testable code bases.
• Deep experience with mature CI/CD pipelines and a continuous deployment mindset—releasing to live environments daily.
• A commercial mindset with a genuine interest in leveraging AI to accelerate software development and improve delivery cycles.
