- Act as the ServiceNow Subject Matter Expert (SME) and primary technical point of contact for the squad, providing architectural guidance and technical leadership.
- Lead end-to-end ServiceNow solution delivery, including architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-production support, in accordance with enterprise standards and governance.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable ServiceNow solution architectures, ensuring alignment with platform best practices and maximizing business value.
- Define and maintain ServiceNow architectural standards, design patterns, and reusable frameworks across the platform.
- Design and develop custom applications, scoped apps, workflows, Flow Designer logic, UI policies, business rules, client/server scripts, and integrations.
- Build high-quality, secure, and maintainable code, enforcing best practices such as code reviews, unit testing, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Own the solution lifecycle—from technical design through implementation, automated testing, and deployment—ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and stakeholders to refine requirements, provide technical feasibility assessments, and drive optimal platform solutions.
- Design solutions that are extensible and configurable, enabling customers and administrators to customize functionality without impacting core architecture.
- Actively contribute to enhancing existing applications, optimizing performance, and introducing new ServiceNow features and capabilities.
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve application development, deployment automation, and release management practices.
- Support automated deployments and configuration management, leveraging DevOps tools and ServiceNow Application Repository where applicable.
- Perform peer code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers, promoting engineering discipline and platform best practices.
- Mentor team members and drive a culture of knowledge sharing, documentation, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate in an Agile / Scrum environment with developers, quality engineers, and product managers to deliver high-quality releases.
- ServiceNow System Admin certification, ServiceNow Application Developer and/or Architect or Product line certifications a plus.
- Working knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, HTML preferred.
- Working knowledge of databases, tables, attributes, and relationships.
- Understanding of ITIL principles/best practices preferred.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000 a year
