Key Responsibilities
- Design and build server-side applications supporting mobile platforms
- Develop and maintain Backend for Frontend BFF APIs
- Write, refactor, and optimize clean, maintainable code
- Improve system performance through analysis and optimization
- Work with asynchronous code and distributed systems
- Integrate with legacy backend systems and custom services
- Contribute to CI pipelines and build tooling Gradle-based workflows
- Perform bug fixes, code cleanup, and modernization efforts
- Develop and maintain unit tests
- Design solutions for open-ended technical problems
- Collaborate within a large cross-functional team
- Strong experience building server-side applications
- Solid experience with REST APIs
- Experience with GraphQL
- Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin
- Experience with Gradle build tools
- Experience working with asynchronous programming models
- Strong debugging and performance optimization skills
- Experience working with legacy systems
- Unit testing experience
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
