Remote with possibly 1 day a week in office. Must be willing to work North Houston market by the airport. Will be managing active and growing new accounts in regards to Battery energy storage systems (BESS) and renewable energy projects. Must have BESS experience OR one or more of the below.
No BESS - No problem? We are also hiring Account Managers in these areas as well.
- Industrial power solutions (power conversion, SST, data center infrastructure)
- Power generation products (temporary power, turbines, critical power applications)

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a driven and customer-focused Account Manager – BESS to support customer development and sales execution for battery energy storage solutions.
This role is ideal for a sales professional in a strong growth phase of their career who is looking to build relationships, develop pipeline, and gain experience across a full sales cycle within a technical, solution-based environment.
You will play a key role in supporting commercial activities, coordinating with internal teams, and contributing to revenue growth across a rapidly evolving market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage assigned accounts and support sales growth for BESS products and related solutions
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, integrators, developers, EPCs, and channel partners
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and support broader business development efforts
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and follow-up communication in collaboration with internal teams
- Support opportunities throughout the full sales cycle—from lead development to order placement and post-award follow-up
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts
- Coordinate with technical and operations teams to meet customer requirements
- Assist with pricing discussions, commercial alignment, and issue resolution
- Monitor market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
- Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and industry events
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Energy, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development within energy storage, power systems, renewables, or industrial markets
- Strong communication, relationship management, and follow-up skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across commercial and technical teams
- Strong organizational skills with a proactive, results-driven mindset
- Interest in building a long-term career in advanced energy solutions
- Willingness to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to battery energy storage systems (BESS), renewable energy, or distributed energy applications
- Familiarity with utility, commercial, or industrial energy projects
- Experience using CRM systems and managing sales pipelines
- Interest and potential for growth in solution-based technical sales
