OutScout is partnered with the hiring team for a public safety technology company.


As leaders in the space, they are developing the use of devices, cloud technologies, and real-time data to help first responders handle emergencies, protect the public, and increase social transparency.


They’re in a strong financial position with a $50B valuation and over $2.8B in revenues with continuing growth in the U.S. and internationally.


Location: Washington, D.C. preferred (remote considered)

Travel: ~50%

Reports to: SVP, Federal


Overview

Mission-driven technology company seeking a Federal Strategic Account Executive to lead complex sales across key government agencies. This role owns territory strategy, drives large-scale opportunities, and partners cross-functionally to deliver secure, scalable solutions that support public safety and operational modernization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of federal accounts; identify and shape high-value opportunities
  • Develop and execute strategic account and go-to-market plans
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from capture through close
  • Build executive relationships across federal agencies
  • Translate mission needs into tailored technology solutions
  • Partner with product, engineering, and technical teams to win and deliver
  • Manage pipeline, forecasting, and consistently hit revenue targets

  • Established executive relationships across key agencies
  • Clear capture strategies for multiple large opportunities
  • Strong pipeline growth and initial strategic wins
