Territory: Multi-state (4 states) | ~30-40% overnight travel

Our client is a worldwide manufacturer of laboratory diagnostics, instrumentation, and automation systems, with customers in over 120 countries. With several new product launches and rapid growth across the U.S., we’re seeking a driven Account Manager to manage and expand business across a multi-state territory.


What You’ll Do

  • Sell diagnostic instruments, reagents, and automation solutions directly to hospital laboratories, health systems, regional reference labs, research institutions, and government facilities
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals
  • Manage the full sales cycle – from prospecting and product demonstrations to closing and post-sale support
  • Build long-term partnerships with lab directors, pathologists, and purchasing leaders
  • Collaborate with internal teams including technical support, marketing, and customer success to ensure outstanding client experience


What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in medical diagnostics, clinical laboratory, life sciences, or capital equipment sales
  • Proven success selling directly to hospital labs or integrated health networks
  • Strong hunter mentality with the ability to manage complex sales cycles
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 30-40% overnight across a 4-state territory
  • Must reside in the Chicagoland area
