Software Engineer

Salary: £118,999 - £160,999 annual

An innovative organisation in the aerospace and defence space is looking for a Software Engineer. This role involves leading software systems development on cloud infrastructures following modern DevSecOps and Agile execution processes to support mission-critical systems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop software design, coding, and unit/integration testing of features and user stories.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate project requirements into technical specifications.
• Develop scalable and resilient front and backend solutions using cloud technologies.
• Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of software pipelines and tools.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural principles and coding standards.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent related experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in software development languages such as C++, JavaScript, and C#.
• Strong experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum and Kanban.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States and able to acquire a security clearance.
