How You Will Make An Impact

  • Execute against defined customer segmentation and account prioritization strategies, while providing field-driven insights to inform continuous refinement and targeting effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans that identify, prioritize, and convert growth opportunities across existing clients, including new programs, capabilities and services.
  • Proactively generate and advance a pipeline of new opportunities within existing accounts, including new programs, capabilities, and services.
  • Lead the end-to-end opportunity lifecycle, including opportunity identification, scope definition, pricing coordination, proposal and statement of work development, and Salesforce pipeline management.
  • Lead commercial deal structuring and agreement negotiations in partnership with Legal, Finance, and Leadership, coordinating cross-functional input as needed to finalize service and supply agreements
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients through regular engagement and trust-building across all levels of their organizations.
  • Serve as the primary business point of contact for commercial matters (client inquiries, issues, and feedback, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, while partnering with Project Management as the primary delivery contract.
  • Lead regular business review meetings and executive-level discussions to assess relationship health, performance outcomes, and strategic forward-looking growth opportunities.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Bend Bioscience’s products and services to support lead generation and client engagement.
  • Represent the company professionally with internal and external stakeholders and participate in industry events as requested, strengthening market presence and supporting business development objectives.
  • Cultural Alignment: Model and reinforce the company’s values and behaviors in all interactions, contributing to a collaborative, accountable and high performing commercial culture, and positive workplace environment.

What You Will Bring To The Role

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline (Life Sciences, Engineering, Business Management)

Experience: 7+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or CDMO industry, with demonstrated success managing and expanding strategic client accounts translating business goals and challenges into company-provided solutions and services. In addition:

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth within existing accounts, including upselling, cross-selling, and securing new programs.
  • Experience leading complex, multi-functional deal cycles, including scope development, pricing alignment, and contract negotiation.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within a structured commercial framework, including CRM (e.g., Salesforce) pipeline management, forecasting, and account planning.
  • Experience working within a matrixed organization, effectively influencing cross-functional stakeholders (Technical, Finance, Legal, Project Management)
  • Strong understanding of drug development and CDMO operations, including manufacturing, pharmaceutical development, and client service delivery models.

Work Environment: Remote
