Sales Account Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Account Manager to build and grow strategic customer relationships, drive revenue across assigned accounts, and lead new business development initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong sales acumen with experience in hotel and trade show environments, understands trade show design and execution, and can represent our brand at industry events while managing the full sales cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned accounts to meet or exceed revenue and profitability targets.
  • Develop and execute account plans and sales strategies to expand business with existing clients and secure new accounts.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building long-term relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and lead generation activities.
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead trade show sales efforts, including booth presence, on-site sales activities, and post-show follow-up.
  • Collaborate with creative and operations teams to contribute to trade show design, booth layout, and on-site logistics to maximize lead generation and brand impact.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service-level agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Use CRM tools to track opportunities, manage pipelines, produce sales forecasts, and generate regular reports for leadership.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (marketing, operations, finance) to deliver on client commitments, ensure timely delivery, and resolve any issues.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to cultivate relationships and promote services.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development; hotel sales and trade show sales experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to close.
  • Experience with trade show design, booth planning, and on-site event execution.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills with the ability to build rapport at all organizational levels.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and MS Office; comfortable producing forecasts and sales reports.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel regularly for client meetings and trade shows as required.
