The Opportunity
We're seeking an experienced and results-driven U.S. Key Account Manager to lead & execute our growth strategy across U.S. grocery channels. Based in Mississauga, this role is critical to driving our expansion, building retailer partnerships, and achieving ambitious sales targets in the highly competitive grocery landscape.
What You'll Do
Strategic Account Leadership
• Develop and execute comprehensive Customer Business Plans with key retail partners to drive mutual growth
• Achieve targeted sales and market share growth based on annual and quarterly objectives
• Secure new distribution in stores and regional chains while expanding partnerships with major retailers
• Position TWIGZ competitively against category leaders through fact-based selling and category insights
• Manage broker partners and field sales teams to drive flawless execution
Performance & Trade Management
• Leverage syndicated data (Circana, Nielsen, SPINS) to drive insights and optimize per-store sales performance
• Optimize trade spend ROI, manage promotional budgets, and develop data-driven pricing strategies
• Manage promotional calendars and track performance to maximize sales lift and profitability
• Use revenue growth management capabilities including forecasting and annual operating plans
Partnership & Innovation
• Build strategic relationships with buyers and retail partners at all organizational levels
• Lead new product launches, secure listings, and drive trial through effective merchandising and promotional support
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations to deliver seamless solutions
• Negotiate favorable terms, secure secondary placements and high impact promotional opportunities
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 8 years in Key Account Management with direct U.S. grocery retailer responsibility
• Proven track record achieving sales targets and securing new distribution in grocery channel
• Strong category management expertise with ability to use syndicated data (Circana, Nielsen, SPINS) to drive strategy
• Experience in revenue growth management (RGM), demand forecasting, and building customer annual operating plans
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, retail analytics platforms, and POS data analysis
• Strong negotiation skills with proven ability to secure favorable terms and manage trade spend effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field strongly preferred
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in the salty snacks category (pretzels, chips, crackers, etc.) is a strong asset
• Established relationships with key grocery buyers at major U.S. and retailers
• Experience working with broker partners and field sales teams in the CPG industry
• Experience with emerging or fast-growing CPG brands
• Strong understanding of retailer programs, systems, and requirements
• Knowledge of category management fundamentals and retail analytics platforms

Location & Travel
• Location: In-office position based in Mississauga, ON
• Travel: Approximately 10% travel to U.S. and Canadian markets
