Java Full Stack Developer - #16185

Blue Chip Talent, in partnership with a financial services organization, is seeking a skilled Senior Java Developer. This role is responsible for leading the migration of enterprise applications to the Azure cloud, designing scalable cloud-native solutions, and optimizing performance through modern DevOps and microservices practices. The ideal candidate will contribute hands-on development expertise while driving cloud architecture, automation, and operational excellence initiatives.

Job Duties

• Architect, develop, and implement scalable cloud-native applications within the Azure ecosystem
• Lead migration efforts from on-premises applications to cloud-based environments
• Design and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and single page applications utilizing microfrontend architecture
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Infrastructure as Code solutions such as Terraform
• Monitor and improve cloud application performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
• Implement observability and monitoring solutions using tools such as DataDog
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical mentorship to development team members
• Collaborate with product owners, infrastructure teams, and operations teams to deliver integrated cloud solutions
• Develop technical documentation, system diagrams, and workflow processes to support solution architecture
• Ensure security, compliance, IAM policies, and encryption standards are incorporated into all cloud solutions

Skills Required:

• 8+ years of experience with Java development, PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Angular, and scalable microservices architecture
• 5+ years of cloud engineering experience designing and managing cloud-native applications at scale
• Experience building Single Page Applications (SPA) utilizing microfrontend architecture
• 3+ years of experience with SQL, Hibernate, and Web Services (REST and/or SOAP)
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices, and serverless architectures
• Expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools
• Experience utilizing observability and monitoring platforms such as DataDog
• Strong experience designing and deploying solutions within Microsoft Azure
