The Opportunity
Our client is an Israeli-founded, early-stage cybersecurity startup emerging from stealth to solve one of the biggest crises in the modern enterprise: shadow AI and autonomous agent data exposure. While traditional DLP and DSPM tools provide snapshots of the past, our platform uses a proprietary predictive engine to map data usage and remediate risks before they occur. They are backed by top-tier VCs and are already securing Fortune 500 customers.
As their first US-based Account Executive, you will not just be "closing deals"—you will be building the US sales playbook from the ground up, reporting directly to the Founder & CEO.
The Role
- Founder-Led to Sales-Led: Transition our initial US pilots into a repeatable enterprise sales machine.
- Full-Cycle Ownership: Own the entire funnel, from strategic outbound prospecting to technical discovery, POC management, and closing.
- Strategic Positioning: Educate CISOs and Data Security leaders on why traditional DLP is failing in the age of Agentic AI.
- Market Intelligence: Act as the "eyes and ears" in the US, providing critical feedback to our R&D team to refine the product for the North American market.
The Ideal Profile
- You have been a Founding AE or one of the first 5 sales hires at a cybersecurity startup that scaled from $0 to $10M+ ARR.
- Domain Expertise: You have 5+ years of experience selling Data Security (DLP, DSPM, DDR) or Cloud Security (CNAPP, IAM). You understand how data flows in modern hybrid cloud environments.
- Technical Fluency: You can hold your own in a room of senior execs. You understand LLM data exposure, API security, and the risks associated with AI agents.
- Network: You have an existing "Rolodex" of CISO and VP-level contacts in the Greater Boston or New York Metro enterprise corridors.
- The Startup Mindset: You are comfortable with ambiguity, high-velocity pivots, and the lack of a "corporate marketing department" to feed you leads.
