Biosolve Chemicals is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high‑purity solvents for the pharmaceutical, biotech, and chemical industries.
With over 50 years of experience, we support both commercial companies and non‑profit research organizations, and are recognized for our consistent quality and technical expertise.
To further strengthen our position in Germany, we are looking for two Account Managers who combine technical understanding with commercial drive.
Your role
As Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting and growing customers in your region.
You act as a trusted partner, advising a diverse customer base including industrial clients and research institutions.
These roles are split across two regions:
- West Germany → managing and growing a regional customer base
- Southeast Germany → managing and growing a regional customer base
Depending on your experience and location, your focus will be aligned accordingly.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers in the pharma, biotech, chemical, and broader laboratory sectors (both non‑profit and commercial organizations)
- Advise customers on solvent/ chemical applications, specifications, and product selection
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Translate technical requirements into practical and commercial solutions
- Visit customers regularly and represent Biosolve at meetings and industry events
- Monitor market developments and share insights internally
What you bring
- Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences or similar
- Hands-on laboratory experience (through study, internships, or work)
- Strong interest in combining technical knowledge with a commercial role
- Experience in sales, account management, or application support is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- Willingness to travel within Germany
👉 Important: This is a technical sales role. A relevant chemistry background is required. Applications without this background will not be considered.
