Goliath has been retained by a finance firm in NYC targeting a Founding Engineer on a hybrid basis.
Role:
- Build and evolve systems for valuation, order execution, and post-trade tracking.
- Develop pricing models using market data, liquidity, and historical performance.
- Create monitoring, dashboards, and internal tools for system health.
- Implement safeguards for data quality and execution risks.
Ideal background:
- Strong backend/infrastructure experience (Python or Go),
- Building production systems in high-stakes environments (trading, fintech, marketplaces, etc.)
- Experience with data pipelines and real-world data.
