Role: Key Account Manager – Imports Location: South India (Bangalore / Chennai) Role
Overview:
We are hiring a Key Account Manager – Imported Fruits to drive sales and demand generation across South India.
This is a high-impact, market-facing role focused on handling wholesalers, HoReCa clients, distributors, and modern retail accounts, and building strong trade relationships to scale the imported fruits business.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Drive sales and demand generation for imported and exotic fruits across South India
2) Onboard and manage wholesalers, distributors, HoReCa, and modern retail accounts
3) Build strong key account relationships to ensure repeat business and volume growth
4) Handle pricing, negotiations, and order closures with trade partners
4) Track market trends, demand patterns, and pricing movements
5) Work closely with sourcing, category, and supply chain teams to align demand and supply
6) Ensure smooth order fulfillment, logistics coordination, and service levels
7) Manage collections and receivables to maintain account health
Experience & Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in B2B sales / fruit trading / wholesale / HoReCa / modern retail
- Strong exposure to fresh fruits / fresh produce / agri supply chain
- Experience in key account management / distributor handling / business development
- Exposure to imported or exotic fruits is preferred
- Good understanding of South India markets (Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad)
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- High ownership and willingness for field travel
