Business Developer Railway - Fluid Connectors (M/F)

Sales support:
- Provide technical and commercial advice and guidance to business units and distributors
- Analyse and validate the specifications of business units, distributors and customers, ensuring alignment with the commercial strategy
- Review tender contracts and pricing requests, ensuring compliance with the margin levels defined by management, and prepare quotations
- Support negotiations for strategic business opportunities within business units and/or with customers
- Advise and support the rail market manager in drafting multi-country customer contracts
- Initiate and monitor business within production units
- Identify and report new market needs and trends to support the Market Manager in geographical expansion
- Communicate updates regarding products, applications and/or market strategy to the business units
- Contribute to the development of training materials
- Train sales representatives in the business units
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service
Qualifications
Education: Bac+5 technical and/or commercial degree, typically from an engineering school specialising in mechanical engineering, fluid mechanics or electrical engineering. A qualification at a different level, supplemented by significant experience in this role, is acceptable
Experience: A minimum of five years in a similar role, preferably within the railway industry
Specific skills:
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Knowledge of the characteristics and behaviour of fluids and materials
- Sales techniques and market approaches
- Results-oriented: turnover / margin / investments
- Technical proficiency in the field of mechanics
- Basic knowledge of electrical engineering would be an advantage
- ERP (SAP), CRM, Data Analysis, BI (Business Intelligence), Microsoft Office 365
Qualities: attention to detail, good interpersonal skills, solution-oriented and customer-focused
