The Role As a Site Reliability Engineer at Legora you'll join the founding SRE team at our new NYC engineering hub, working within Foundations to keep our platform reliable and performant as we scale. You'll work across production systems, contributing to observability, incident response, and automation alongside senior engineers. *This is a New York-based, 5-day in-office role. We believe building together in person drives better outcomes. What You'll Do Operate and improve production services, contributing to deployment, monitoring, and system health Build and maintain observability tooling (metrics, logs, traces) to keep signal high and noise low Contribute to SLI/SLO definition, alerting, and reliability reporting for your services Participate in on-call rotations and help drive post-incident follow-ups and preventive fixes Reduce operational toil through automation and improved developer-facing tooling Collaborate with product and platform engineers to improve deployment safety and system resilience What You Bring Experience building and shipping software, with solid backend and infrastructure skills Comfortable debugging production systems and working under pressure Passionate about writing maintainable code and automation to solve operational problems Curious and proactive, with a desire to understand how systems fail and how to make them better Familiar with observability, incident management, and on-call practices, as well as cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes What’s In It For You Global collaboration: Partner with teams and clients domestic and internationally.
