Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full‑Stack Engineer with hands‑on development experience who can quickly hit the ground running and contribute immediately. One of the two hires will step into a lead role—prior leadership experience is not required, but the ideal candidate is a strong senior engineer ready to grow into that responsibility. This is a fully hands‑on position; engineers must be comfortable coding daily and collaborating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop high‑quality backend and frontend solutions as part of a full‑stack engineering team
• Take ownership of assigned projects and work independently with minimal oversight
• Collaborate closely with team members, stakeholders, and customers
• For the lead role: provide technical guidance, help drive engineering best practices, and support team execution (while still remaining hands‑on)

Required Experience

• 5-8 years of professional engineering experience
• Full‑stack development experience with both backend and frontend technologies
• Must meet at least 50% of the required technologies listed below
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to engage professionally with customers
• High energy, positive attitude, and easy to work with

Required Technologies

Backend

• Proficiency in one or more backend languages such as Django, Python, Node.js, or Go
• Experience with REST APIs and/or GraphQL
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git

Frontend

• Expertise with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript
• Experience integrating frontend applications with backend services
• Familiarity with UI component libraries and state management tools (e.g., Redux, NgRx, Vuex)

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services, mortgages, or insurance
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies or AI integrations (not required but a plus)
