Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Software QA Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in

the fintech domain. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our Foreign Exchange Trading (FX) platform by performing API and UI testing and establishing or contributing to the test automation framework. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-growing company where technology drives innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for APIs and UIs.
• Conduct end-to-end functional, integration, performance and regression testing for backend services.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Postman, JMETER, Selenium, or similar.
• Validate business logic across complex workflows in a APIs and UI architecture.
• Analyze logs, monitor service behaviour, and help debug sandbox & production issues.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and BA teams to ensure quality from the ground up.
• Participate in sprint planning and contribute to agile testing practices (Scrum or Kanban).
• Maintain thorough documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.

Qualifications:

• 3–4 years of experience in Software Testing, preferably in the Foreign Exchange Trading (FX), Fintech or Banking domain.
• Strong knowledge of API testing tools such as Postman, JMETER, or SoapUI.
• Hands-on experience with API testing and understanding of APIs and UI architecture.
• Good grasp of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar).
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and basic scripting (JavaScript).
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, and HTTP protocols.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.
• Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in the FX industry, which includes testing around trading platforms, pricing engines, order management systems, or any FX-related applications and workflows.

Good to Have

• Experience with Foreign Exchange Trading (FX) platforms such as Cymonz
• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• ISTQB certification or similar is a plus.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm PHT
