ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking Software Engineers with experience working in live, production environments to investigate and resolve complex technical issues across backend services, APIs, and SDKs. This role focuses on deep system-level debugging, where engineers analyze behavior across multiple services to identify root causes of ambiguous issues.

THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

  • Investigate complex technical issues spanning multiple services, APIs, and SDKs
  • Debug system behavior using:
  • logs
  • monitoring tools
  • source control history
  • Analyze failures across backend systems and identify root causes without predefined solutions
  • Work across unfamiliar systems and codebases to trace issues end-to-end
  • Partner with internal teams to validate findings and drive resolution of system-level issues
  • Document technical investigations, root causes, and resolution paths

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

  • 4+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Strong ability to read, understand, and debug code across backend systems
  • Experience working across:
  • distributed systems
  • APIs and service integrations
  • SDKs or platform-level tooling
  • Proven experience debugging issues in live / production / incident-driven environments
  • Experience using logs, monitoring tools, and debugging techniques to trace issues across systems
  • Ability to investigate ambiguous issues where there is no clear starting point
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently

NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience in LiveOps, DevOps, SRE, or production engineering environments
  • Experience working in a tech environment or alongside software development teams
  • Exposure to gaming, app development, VR platforms, or similar ecosystems
  • Experience working with CRM or case management tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
