Accountant/Accounts Executive

**This role is based in Kuala Lumpur. We are not considering applicants that require sponsorship for work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records for clients, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and digital asset transactions.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Perform bank and wallet reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of FIAT and cryptocurrency transactions.
• Support the preparation and filing of tax returns, including those involving digital assets, while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Assist with audit preparation by organizing financial documentation.
• Contribute to improving accounting processes and workflows to streamline operations for both FIAT and crypto-based clients.
• Handle ad-hoc finance-related tasks, ensuring accurate and timely support for diverse client portfolios.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Chinese Language
• Diploma/Degree in finance, accounting, or related field with min 3 years work experience or more.
• Experienced in preparing full set of accounts.
• Experience in outsourced accounting firms is an advantage.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks).
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication skills and a team player.
• Has an interest in understanding crypto accounting and digital currencies
• Having prior experience handling offshores is a bonus.
