About the opportunity
We’re seeking an experienced Account Manager (5+ years experience) to join a specialist AR with a strong presence in their specialty market.
Established in 2018, the business has grown to a $1.2M income portfolio built predominantly through referrals and strong long-term client relationships.
The portfolio is heavily SME-focused, with exposure across:
- Public & Products Liability
- Professional Indemnity
- Commercial Property
- Motor Insurance
- Business Packages
Clients are primarily security-related SMEs, alongside a mix of broader commercial risks.
The role
You’ll step into an Account Manager position managing an established $350K income portfolio, with responsibility across servicing, retention, and relationship growth.
This is a key hire within a clear succession plan.
The current business owner is looking to gradually transition into a more hands-off role over time and is keen to bring someone in who can take on increasing responsibility and grow into a leadership position within the business.
What we’re looking for
- 4+ years’ experience in SME / commercial insurance broking
- Strong knowledge across packages, liability and commercial lines
- Confident, client-facing communicator
- Ambitious, proactive, and commercially minded
- Genuine long-term interest in leadership progression
