Junior Full-Stack Developers — Bcommune
On-site (Hayathagar)| Full-time | Performance-Based Compensation
Read this carefully before applying. We're not looking for resume fillers. We're looking for builders. If casually Applied you shall be blacklisted from future applications.
About Bcommune- Bcommune is a security-first, intelligence-driven platform engineering a unified professional ecosystem for serious innovators, builders, and organizations. We operate at the intersection of career development, recruitment, and venture creation — powered by proprietary algorithms and scalable deep-tech infrastructure.
We don't ship mediocrity. If "good enough" is your standard, scroll on.
The Role We need Junior Full-Stack Developers who already write production-grade code, think in systems, and treat ownership as default. You'll work directly with Founders on architecture, APIs, frontend, and proprietary algorithm development.
This is a hands-on engineering role. The expectations are real.
What You'll Actually Do
- Build and ship full-stack features across React + TypeScript frontends and FastAPI / Python backends
- Design and optimize PostgreSQL schemas, queries, and indexes for low-latency performance
- Develop secure, scalable REST APIs with proper rate limiting, input validation, and error handling
- Implement OAuth 2.0, JWT, RBAC, password hashing (bcrypt/Argon2), and protection against OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities (SQLi, XSS, CSRF, SSRF)
- Deploy and maintain services on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC)
- Write clean, tested, reviewable code — no "it works on my machine" excuses
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and monitoring
- Own your tickets end-to-end — from spec to deployment
Must-Have Skills (Non-Negotiable)
- Frontend: React 18+, TypeScript, modern state management (Zustand/Redux Toolkit/Context), TailwindCSS, REST/WebSocket integration
- Backend: Python with FastAPI (Pydantic models, dependency injection, async/await, middleware), or strong Node.js equivalent
- Database: PostgreSQL — joins, indexes, transactions, query optimization (you should know what EXPLAIN ANALYZE does)
- Security fundamentals: authentication flows, secure session handling, HTTPS/TLS, secrets management, input sanitization
- AWS basics: deploying apps, managing IAM roles, S3 buckets, environment configs
- Git discipline: clean commits, meaningful PRs, ability to work in feature-branch workflows
- Strong English communication — written and verbal
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or serverless deployments
- Built or contributed to HR Tech, FinTech, or social/networking platforms
- Familiarity with Redis, RabbitMQ, Celery, or other queueing/caching systems
- Exposure to WebSockets, GraphQL, or gRPC
- Open-source contributions or a strong GitHub portfolio
- Understanding of distributed systems, CAP theorem, eventual consistency
Who Should NOT Apply
- "Tutorial completers" with no real projects
- Anyone who needs hand-holding for basic Git, debugging, or Stack Overflow searches
- Candidates looking for passive learning rather than active building
- People uncomfortable with deadlines, code reviews, or direct feedback
Compensation Performance-driven and based on your technical depth, ownership, and contribution to the platform. Top performers earn accelerated growth, expanded responsibilities, and rewards aligned with the impact they create. We pay for output, not attendance.
- Work Setup 📍 On-site — we build together.
Applications without code samples or GitHub will not be reviewed.
If you're serious about building, we're serious about you. Apply only if you mean it.
