Wieland is hiring a Senior Key Account Executive . The Senior Key Account Executive will be responsible for managing and leading all commercial a ctivities for an assigned customer base within Wieland Roll ing & Recycling North America (BU RR ) and Wieland Global Services (BU GS) , including delivering budgeted sales volumes and margins, managing customer relationships, and conducting business development activities . This position will also work in close collaboration with the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) Leaders to develop and manage th e overall strategy for assigned accounts. Coordination of activities with key stakeholders to ensure t actical support of business planning , market intelligenc e, forecasting , technical services, quality response, and business development efforts tied to designated accounts is also required .

This role will also act as a key l iaison to the broader BU RR , Wieland Global Services ( BU GS ) , and global W ieland commercial teams regarding assigned accounts and market activities . Accountabilities will be split between both Wieland Rolling & Recycl ing North America and Wieland Global Services for key accounts , requiring close collaboration with both BU s .

This role is located in Louisville, KY , and will be fully remote .

Base Salary Range: $150,000 – $160,000/yr

May be eligible for a variable compensation plan bonus based upon company performance within fiscal year cycle.

Responsibilities

Senior Key Account Executive Responsibilities:

  • Deliver budgeted sales volumes and margins for all assigned accounts .
  • Establish, manage , and lead all aspects of customer relationships w/ designated account base (in close collaboration with key stakeholders at Wieland ) .
  • Develop and lead comprehensive negotiation strateg ies to achieve targeted results within customer base. Coordinate e xecut ion of all formal /in fo rmal commercial a rrangements with cross-functional parties within Wieland to achieve seamless execution at cu stomer.
  • Own & manage commercial forecast, finish goods inventory, terms , and compliance with special agreements for designated account base .
  • Develop , manage, and lead the strateg ic and tactical plans for assigned accounts (in close collaboration with SBU leaders) . Including coordination of key activities across all cross-functional teams to achieve key outcomes and objectives within assigned accounts .
  • Identify and manage bus iness dev e lopment efforts in conjunction with Technical Marketing and other internal groups , both with assigned customers and other prospects.
  • Acquire & disseminate market/customer intelligence with the organization, including via mandatory call reports and managing/ updat ing customer profiles in assigned systems ( ex: Wieland CRM) .
  • Develop and facilitate relationships with cross-functional teams (including Customer Service, Supply Chain, Production Planning, Accounting, Finance, etc.) to maximize support and value delivered to assigned accounts , including leading project teams as needed/ assigned .
  • Responsibly manage expense s, business process es, and other administrative duties of position.
  • Exhibit a true commitment to the values, vision , and strategy of Wieland .

Senior Key Account Executive Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in a relevant field ( preferably with a marketing , technical , or engineering f ocus ) .
  • 1 0 + y ears of releva nt experience in the industry , preferably serving in / directly supporting s ales & m arketing and/ or business development functions; track record of working with o perations & s upply c hain ; prior involvement in strategic planning for segment, product line , and /or broader business; demonstrated capability with enterprise systems ( ERP, APS ) & applications (MS including Excel & PPT ) .
  • Strong interpersonal skills ; ability to influence others & build/deliver persuasive arguments ; p roven record o f leading teams to deliver on objectives .
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills as demonstrated in e-mail, phone /video , and face-to-face in dealing with customers and other internal/external stakeholders .
  • Driven to identify, comprehend , & address customer needs (business, technical, social) .
  • Ability to analyze data, activities , and events to uncover & secure opportunities for the business .
  • F acilitate timely & effective decision s via research/prep aration , application of j udgement / perspective , storytelling, and organizational savvy.
  • Enthusiastic , committed, and target-oriented; creative, resilient, and diplomatically assertive .
  • Record of delivering business results while balancing multiple tasks, stakeholders, and interests .
  • W illing to travel nationwide as business needs dictate up to 75% .
