Account Manager – Industrial Power Solutions - (power conversion, SST, data center infrastructure)

Remote with possibly 1 day a week in office. Must be willing to work North Houston market by the airport. Will be managing active and growing new accounts in regards to Industrial power solutions (power conversion, SST, data center infrastructure). Must have experience in one or more of the below.


No SST- No problem? We are also hiring Account Managers in these areas as well.

  • Power generation products (temporary power, turbines, critical power applications)
  • Battery energy storage systems (BESS) and renewable energy projects

Account Manager – Industrial Power Solutions

About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading provider of scalable, turnkey mobile gas turbine power solutions designed to meet the energy demands of critical industries. Their capabilities support temporary mobile power, electric fracturing operations, and industrial power applications across oil & gas, manufacturing, commercial operations, emergency response, and utility sectors.

They deliver dependable, rapidly deployable power solutions built for demanding operating environments.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Account Manager – Industrial Power Solutions to join their growing commercial team in Houston, TX.

This opportunity is ideal for an early-career sales professional looking to build a long-term career in technical and industrial sales.

In this role, you will support customer account development and commercial activities related to solid-state transformer (SST) products, power conversion solutions, and advanced industrial power applications. You’ll play a key role in managing customer relationships, supporting proposals, and driving account growth across technically complex opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned customer accounts and support sales activities for SST products and industrial power solutions
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
  • Support quotations, proposals, pricing coordination, and order-related communication
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and new business opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to meet technical, commercial, and delivery requirements
  • Maintain CRM activity, pipeline tracking, and account plans
  • Assist with issue resolution and customer follow-up on open opportunities
  • Monitor market trends and share competitive insights with internal stakeholders
  • Participate in customer visits, sales meetings, and industry events
  • Support the Business Development Director in achieving sales and growth targets

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development
  • 2+ years of experience within electrical equipment, industrial products, or power systems
  • 2+ years of experience with SST products, power conversion, data center power, or related infrastructure
  • Experience using a CRM platform
  • Experience supporting a structured sales process (quotations, proposals, pipeline management)
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment based in Houston, TX (77032)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to solid-state transformer (SST) products
  • Familiarity with data center power infrastructure
  • Experience supporting industrial, utility, commercial, or energy-sector customers
  • Experience with pricing strategy, opportunity tracking, and order execution
  • Interest in long-term career growth within technical/industrial sales
