Backend Developer (NodeJS and ExpressJS)-Spain

We are seeking a highly skilled professional in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with frontend developers to ensure a cohesive delivery of high-quality products. Your expertise in backend technologies will help us achieve our ambitious software goals. Remote work only for Spain residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and Express.js
• Build and consume RESTful APIs following best practices and performance standards
• Manage, optimize, and troubleshoot PostgreSQL databases (queries, indexing, migrations)
• Ensure backend solutions are secure, performant, and maintainable
• Collaborate using Git with proper version control and code review workflows
• Participate actively in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban)
• Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical issues
• Work closely with frontend, product, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code

Requisitos mínimos

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional Backend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript.
• Expertise in backend development with NodeJS, Java and ExpressJS (mandatory).
• Database management with PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Git version control system.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe).
• Fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish.
