Responsibilities
- Prospecting and developing customer relationships to include upselling and multi-line development of services, providing and negotiating pricing proposals to showcase our superior customer service.
- Identifying customer needs and developing strategies to meet business objectives.
- Identify and propose low voltage system upgrade opportunities.
- Selling fire alarm and sprinkler annual and 5-year inspections.
- Generating proposals on repairs and service work identified during inspections and customer requests
- Identify and propose fire alarm and sprinkler work required due to tenant improvement work in a building.
- Key focus on working with contractors, facility managers and property managers to do the above.
- Working closely with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Conducting seminars and demonstrations to identify and generate leads for prospective customers.
- Participating in trade shows, special product demonstrations, and other events with the objective of increasing sales and enhancing the company’s image.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required; bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or engineering preferred.
- At least 2 years of successful experience in sales, business development, or consulting within the commercial fire alarm, sprinkler, suppression, life safety, or related commercial building/construction industries.
- Demonstrated success in selling service agreements to various levels within customer organizations.
- Proficiency in common fire and life safety systems and equipment.
- Understanding of building life safety inspection codes and standards (including IFC, IBC, NFPA, CMS, etc.).
- High degree of self-discipline and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.
- Must be reliable, self-motivated, success-driven, with excellent organizational, negotiating and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in industry-related equipment including Windows, MS Office, and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Applicants must meet requirements in relation to background, have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Pay Range
USD $60,000.00 - USD $300,000.00 /Yr.
