Job Description
Experian Consumer Services is looking for an experienced and collaborative Sr. Android Developer to help evolve our flagship Android native application. You'll contribute to feature development, code quality, and user experience enhancements.
You'll Have Opportunity To
- Develop Experian's Android app by implementing new features and improvements.
- Write clean, efficient code in Java/Kotlin.
- Perform code reviews and ensure quality through testing and CI.
- Work with product, design, and engineering teams to define requirements.
- Integrate APIs and third-party services.
- Debug issues and optimize performance and scalability.
- Build intuitive, high-quality UIs aligned with design standards.
- Stay updated on Android trends and improve development practices.
- Mentor junior developers and communicate progress to partners.
- You will report to Software Engineer Manager.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, such as Engineering.
- 5+ years professional experience in Android development with experience developing complex Android applications.
- Expertise in Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with proficiency in Java, and Android SDK and Android Studio.
- You will have experience working with REST APIs and third-party libraries; GraphQL knowledge.
