Business Development Manager - Operations Software

We are looking for candidates who are open to be based in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia.
You’ll create impact by:
- Shaping Customer Strategy: Position operations software as a primary business value driver and translate complex operational challenges into clear software use cases and roadmaps.
- Leading Techno-Commercial Deal Shaping: Drive opportunities from qualification to closure, managing solution architecture, scope definition, and complex deal structuring (SaaS, Subscriptions, and Services).
- Positioning Advanced Portfolios: Articulate ROI-focused narratives for Digital Industries portfolios, including Digital Twin, Connected Automation, and Industrial AI.
- Driving Value Discovery: Lead workshops, demos, and discovery sessions to prove software value to enterprise-level customers in collaboration with account and technical teams.
- Activating Partner Ecosystems: Build and co-create joint solution plays with partners, aligning their motion with regional go-to-market priorities to multiply business outcomes.
- Influencing Multi-Level Stakeholders: Engage effectively across engineering, IT/OT, and executive management to influence buying behaviors and achieve annual sales quotas.
- Deep Industry Expertise: More than 7 years of experience in industrial automation or software sales, with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations and IT/OT architectures.
- Techno-Commercial Mastery: A track record in solution-led sales, including experience with BOM support, pricing, and value-based packaging for complex software deals.
- Strategic Value Articulation: Ability to balance technical depth with executive-level discussions, moving beyond "add-ons" to position software as a business necessity.
- Ecosystem & Matrix Fluency: Proven ability to build partner ecosystems and operate effectively within matrixed, multi-party deal environments.
- Consultative Sales Track Record: Demonstrated success in consultative roles, achieving "trusted advisor" status with customers and consistently exceeding sales targets.
- Relevant Academic Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; an MBA or further business education is a plus.
