Commercial Lines Account Executive

A well-established and client-focused insurance brokerage in Burbank CA is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Executive to manage and grow a portfolio of middle-market and large commercial clients. The organization is known for its consultative approach, strong carrier relationships, and commitment to delivering tailored risk management solutions. This opportunity offers client ownership, strategic advisory responsibility, and long-term growth within a collaborative and performance-driven insurance platform.


The Commercial Lines Account Executive will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, overseeing account management, renewal strategy, and coverage placement while delivering a high level of service and risk guidance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and retain a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts across various industries
  • Serve as the primary client advisor on coverage strategy, risk management, and program design
  • Oversee the renewal process including marketing, carrier negotiations, and proposal development
  • Analyze client exposures and recommend appropriate coverage solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate policy placement and servicing
  • Review policies, endorsements, and coverage terms for accuracy and completeness
  • Identify opportunities for account growth through cross-selling and upselling
  • Provide ongoing client support including claims advocacy and coverage consultation


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of commercial lines insurance experience
  • Proven experience managing and servicing commercial insurance accounts
  • Strong knowledge of commercial coverages including property, casualty, and liability lines
  • Experience with carrier negotiations and renewal strategy development
  • Active insurance license required
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and client advisory skills
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
