Skills And Competencies

• Proficiency in C/C++, Python, and Shell scripting
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience managing containerized workloads using Kubernetes, with preference for Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns across Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure
• Demonstrated experience mentoring engineers and supporting technical growth
• Hands-on experience working within Agile delivery environments
• Management experience is a plus
• Experience designing, building, or supporting ETL processes and data pipelines is a plus
• Deep understanding of observability practices, including logs, metrics, and traces
• Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI tools to improve workflows, with an understanding of responsible and ethical AI practices

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

Design, build, and lead the delivery of scalable, resilient engineering platforms that support reliable technology operations across the organization.

• Design, build, and maintain high-quality systems that support scalable and resilient platforms
• Develop high-performance software using C/C++, Python, and Shell scripting
• Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions to improve consistency and scalability
• Architect and optimize cloud-native systems across Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure
• Lead and contribute to Agile ceremonies, supporting the delivery of high-quality, iterative releases
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to engineering team members
• Serve as incident leader during critical events and drive high-quality postmortems
• Enhance observability practices to ensure reliable, data-driven system performance
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver robust, maintainable software solutions
