We're bringing modern software and AI to the $150 billion wire harness industry — a market that still runs on Excel and email. We launched our product in January 2025 and are rapidly changing how the industry operates. We're hiring a Founding AE to help accelerate that.



THE OPPORTUNITY

Most startup AE roles mean selling software to companies that already have too much software. This one is different. Your customers are the manufacturers behind fighter jets, spaceships, MRI machines, the cars and tractors on the road, and the appliances in your kitchen. Software has been ignored in this industry for decades. We're the ones finally showing up — and you'll be at the front of that.


A few things that make this role different:

  • You're competing against Excel, not other vendors. Buyers are actively looking for what we sell. The hunt is easier than anything you've done.
  • The product is transformational. Orders of magnitude better than the manual workflows it replaces. Customers see results and tell their peers.
  • The category is wide open. No real competitor exists. We're on track to define it.
  • The work matters. You're closing deals with the people who build what flies, drives, heals, and powers the world.
  • Founding seat upside. Uncapped comp, real equity, and your numbers move the company.
  • A-player team alongside you. Sharp culture, high bar, no slackers.



THE ROLE

As an AE at Cableteque, you'll own the full sales cycle into wire harness manufacturers across North America. Mid-market motion, 60-day average cycle, dozens of deals active at once.


Day to day: Discovery and demos with executives, engineers, purchasing, and estimating. Multi-thread to build consensus. Disciplined follow-up. HubSpot pipeline. Expansion after the first close.


Year one targets: Ramp within 60 days · 4–5 new logos/month · ~$1.2M new ARR. A players consistently exceed plan.



IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Vertical SaaS, manufacturing software, or industrial software sales experience
  • Full-cycle AE background with 30–90 day cycles and mid-market ACVs
  • Sold into operations, supply chain, or engineering buyers

Our founder ran a wire harness manufacturer for 35 years before selling to a Fortune 500 and pulled together 50 industry and software experts to back him.



COMPENSATION

  • Base: $75K · OTE at plan: $150K
  • Commission: Uncapped with accelerators above quota
  • Equity: Appreciation rights with real upside
  • Benefits: Health and dental


Quota is set to be achievable. A players will consistently exceed plan.



LOCATION

Huntington Beach, CA. Hybrid — 3 days/week onsite. The work happens with the team in the room, especially in year one.
