What you’ll do:

While the exact role varies by startup, Account Executive responsibilities typically include:

  • Own the full sales cycle: from qualified opportunity through to close, managing deals end-to-end.
  • Drive revenue generation: run discovery, product demos, negotiations, and close contracts with confidence.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships: engage decision-makers, handle objections, and create long-term value.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: work closely with SDRs and marketing to optimise pipeline quality and conversion rates.
  • Consistently exceed targets: take ownership of revenue goals and demonstrate a track record of overperformance.
  • Grow into more senior roles as the company scales.



Is this you?

We’re looking for people who:

  • Have 2–5 years of sales experience (ideally closing experience in tech/startups).
  • Are motivated by exceeding targets & can demonstrate how you’ve done this before.
  • Are confident speaking with decision-makers and can build rapport quickly.
  • Are highly ambitious & looking for a career that gives you real ownership.

Extra points if you’ve:

  • Worked in a Seed–Series B startup.
  • Built or refined parts of a sales process.

The important stuff

  • Average base salaries: £40–80K OTE (depending on startup & role seniority).
  • Startups: Seed to Series A, with ~50% of roles not advertised elsewhere.
