Senior Account Executive (Automation Consultant)

Location: Chicago, IL (On-site, Remote options available)

About The Role

Autopilot is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive sales and contribute to the company's growth in the robotics and automation sector. This is a hands-on role for an individual who is passionate about sales and marketing automation and wants to be part of a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to closing.
  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities.
  • Handle both inbound and outbound sales leads across various industries.
  • Maintain a detailed and data-driven sales pipeline in HubSpot.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns and automation strategies.
  • Utilize automation and AI tools to enhance sales processes.
  • Provide feedback on product pricing, positioning, and ideal customer profiles.
  • Assist in refining sales playbooks, messaging, and overall sales processes.
  • Act as the internal representative for customer feedback.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, with a preference for robotics, automation, or emerging technology products.
  • Proven full-cycle closing experience.
  • Strong skills in discovery and value-based selling.
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) and modern go-to-market tools.
  • Comfortable working in an environment with less defined processes and contributing to their development.
  • Deeply data-driven and systems-oriented.
  • Energized by ambiguity and taking ownership in an early-stage company.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills.
