What will you do?


  • Participate in the design, development, and scaling of AI-powered and full-stack applications that support business operations and customer experiences.
  • Collaborate in discovery phases and high-level solution design alongside product, UX, and business teams to define effective technical approaches.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into well-structured, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Troubleshoot production and business issues by performing root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes.
  • Ensure high standards of code quality, security, scalability, and maintainability across all deliverables.
  • Design and implement AI-enabled features and agentic workflows to enhance automation and decision-making processes.
  • Support the development of predictive AI capabilities, including model training and inference, following MLOps best practices.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for machine learning, including model versioning, monitoring, and reproducibility.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to operationalize models into production environments.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including product, data science, MLOps, and business stakeholders to deliver measurable value.
  • Provide technical input on feasibility and sustainable solution design while supporting small-to-medium sized projects.
  • Contribute to the development of scalable, cloud-native distributed systems using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Apply responsible AI practices, ensuring fairness, security, and compliance.
  • Support and mentor junior engineers and offshore associates within defined scopes.
  • Demonstrate continuous learning, innovation, and alignment with Walmart values.


What are we looking for?


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field with at least 2 years of experience in software engineering, or 4 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience developing AI-enabled or predictive solutions, including exposure to machine learning frameworks.
  • Knowledge of data governance, model observability, and responsible AI practices.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and distributed systems principles.
  • Strong programming skills with the ability to build scalable and maintainable applications.
  • Experience working with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with building inclusive digital experiences aligned with accessibility standards such as WCAG 2.2 AA.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to shared goals.
  • Adaptability to manage priorities in dynamic environments.
