- Spottitt — an AI-powered geo-spatial intelligence platform helping insurers, utilities, and infrastructure businesses analyse aerial and satellite imagery at scale.
- Is My House Sinking — a property-tech platform providing structural monitoring solutions for homeowners, insurers, and mortgage providers.
We’re hiring our first commercial hire — a Founding Business Development Manager to help scale both B2B and B2C growth.
Why This Role Is Different
This isn’t a standard sales role.
You’ll help build the sales function from the ground up, shape go-to-market strategy, and work directly with leadership in a high-growth AI and property-tech business.
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Strategic and consultative, not purely transactional
- Comfortable managing longer sales cycles
- Confident engaging senior stakeholders
- Excited by ownership, autonomy, and building something from scratch
What You’ll Bring
- Experience selling SaaS, ICT, AI, or technical solutions
- Strong outbound business development skills
- Experience handling complex or long-cycle sales
- Ability to work across both enterprise (B2B) and consumer (B2C) audiences
Bonus Points For:
- Insurance, utilities, energy, or infrastructure sector exposure
- Geospatial or property-tech experience
- Knowledge of UK/EU markets
What You’ll Do
- Build and manage the sales pipeline from scratch
- Own the full sales cycle — prospecting through to close
- Win new business across insurance, utilities, infrastructure, and property markets
- Support B2C growth for Is My House Sinking
- Work closely with the CEO and CTO during trials and solution discussions
- Help shape commercial strategy as the company scales
Once clients are onboarded, accounts transition to the product and technical teams — allowing you to stay focused on growth and deal-making.
