A global technology organisation is seeking a high-performing Senior Account Executive to join its enterprise sales team in Australia. The company is a recognised innovator in enterprise software, helping organisations leverage data, analytics, and AI-driven technologies to improve decision-making and business performance.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced enterprise sales professional to drive strategic new business growth across large enterprise accounts in Australia. This is a quota-carrying, individual contributor role focused on developing and closing complex software opportunities with senior business and technology stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing full enterprise sales cycles, generating pipeline, building executive relationships, and delivering value-led solution selling engagements.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive complex enterprise sales engagements across strategic accounts
- Develop and execute territory and account plans to generate new business opportunities
- Prospect, qualify, and close new logo opportunities while expanding existing relationships
- Engage with C-level business and IT stakeholders through consultative, value-based selling
- Build compelling business cases including ROI and TCO analysis
- Manage the end-to-end sales process from pipeline generation through contract close
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams including Sales Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Professional Services
- Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management through CRM systems
- Develop and leverage partner relationships to support revenue growth
- Participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and customer engagement activities
- Operate effectively within structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC
Essential, must have:
- Solid network of clients in the FSI space (can incl big banks and insurance). A strong network here is essential!
- Must have several years in an enterprise AE software sales role.
- Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets in complex B2B environments
- Strong experience managing large, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles
- Bonus with AI SaaS experience
- Background selling solutions such as Analytics, AI, Business Intelligence, Cloud, CRM, ERP, or Data Platforms
