Source Vital Apothecary is seeking a Sales Account Manager to nurture and grow customer relationships. This role will primarily focus on our wholesale partners, guiding them from onboarding through long-term account success and loyalty program growth. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about consultative sales, customer education, and building lasting business relationships. Even better if you have experience with the wellness industry, including skincare, body care and aromatherapy.
The Sales Account Manager will play a key role in achieving our sales growth goals by providing personalized support to current and prospective wholesale customers through phone, email, and in-person consultations. We’re looking for someone who is energized by educating customers on our skincare, body care, and aromatherapy products; confidently recommending product protocols and regimens; and using strong catalog knowledge to help accounts choose the best solutions for their business and clientele.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Handle inbound inquiries from current and potentially new customers via phone and email
- Perform outreach to current client base to notify of new promotions, products, and offerings
- Understand customer needs and make proper recommendations based on product knowledge
- Research accounts and make proposals to current client base to further their offerings and product usage
- Run and analyze reports to better drive increased sales
- Consult in-person with customers who come into our Beauty Market (showroom)
- Attend and participate in the company’s marketing team strategy sessions
- Help develop new ways of driving sales
- Assist with the creation of new marketing material
- Track daily, monthly, and annual sales performance
- Assist with retail customers, as needed
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Strong phone presence
- Ability to troubleshoot, “think on your feet”, and find solutions to problems
- Strong listening and presentation skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Experience working one-on-one with clients in a consultative, sales environment
- Experience in the wellness industry
- Ecommerce (Wordpress, Shopify, Big Commerce, Amazon, etc)
- Accounting Platforms (Quickbooks)
