Software Engineer

This is anengineering role with broad technical ownership across applications, infrastructure, and platform reliability. You’ll work closely with a small, high-performing team to evolve existing systems, improve scalability, and help shape the future technical direction of the platform.

The environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with plenty of autonomy and the ability to make meaningful technical decisions without layers of corporate process. It’s well suited to someone who enjoys solving complex engineering problems, working across the stack, and taking ownership of systems end-to-end.

The platform is built using a modern stack including TypeScript, Python, React, Node.js, cloud-native AWS infrastructure, and both relational and NoSQL databases.

What You’ll Do:

• Take ownership of core systems and help guide technical direction
• Build and maintain modern web applications and backend services
• Work across cloud infrastructure, integrations, and internal tooling
• Improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams

What You’ll Need:

• Strong commercial software engineering experience across modern web technologies
• Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and modern frontend frameworks
• Exposure to AWS or similar cloud environments
• Strong understanding of APIs, databases, and scalable system design
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment

Nice to Have:

• Experience within fintech or other regulated environments
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and modern DevOps practices
• Experience working within startup or scale-up businesses
