Education Account Manager - NZ

Due to business expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Education Account Manager - NZ to join our System Commercial Business Group in Auckland, reporting to the Head of Commercial - NZ - SYS BG.

The Education Account Manager - NZ shall drive growth by building and maintaining relationships with education resellers, schools, universities, and other educational organisations. The ideal candidate shall have a deep understanding and experience of the NZ education sector.

Key aspects of the role are including but not limited to:

• Build and maintain relationships with key resellers and decision-makers in educational institutions
• Collaborate with Education Business Manager, Marketing and Product Teams to develop targeted marketing campaigns for the education sector
• Attend conferences and trade shows to promote IT devices and establish new connections
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to customers and prospects
• Manage the cycle from opportunity identification to product delivery
• Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Accountable for meeting individual and team goals
• Provide feedback to HQ to help drive partner-related data accuracy
• Work collaboratively with technical teams to identify appropriate solutions based on external needs and requirements

Qualifications:

• Tertiary qualifications
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the IT industry, preferably in the education sector
• Teacher Experience will be a plus
• Good understanding of IT hardware
• Ability to work independently
• Knowledge and contacts within the IT industry
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Exceptional client service skills and well-developed negotiation & persuasion skills
• New Zealand citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within New Zealand, no overseas applicants.
