Software Engineer

One of our clients, a local based game company, is seeking a Backend Engineer for one of their key verticals responsible for the outreach and retainment of gamers worldwide.

In this role, you’ll design and develop robust backend services, ensure system reliability and performance, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless end-to-end campaign and engagement experiences. This role involves solving complex engineering problems around scalability, data consistency, and distributed systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain internal backend systems and platforms
• Develop and integrate APIs with front-end, data, and campaign systems
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and reliability
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure smooth system operations

Requirements:

• 3+ years backend engineering experience (API design and distributed system architecture)
• Strong proficiency in Go (preferred), Java, Python
• Solid understanding of Linux, MySQL, RPC, messaging queues, caching, and microservices
• Familiarity with frontend tech (React/Vue/JS) is a bonus
• Strong communication skills in English and Chinese
