As an Account Executive for EMEA, you’ll own one of the most exciting growth opportunities in the company: taking a proven sales motion and scaling it across a large, high-potential territory. You’ll bring new companies into the Genie AI ecosystem, helping commercial teams replace expensive legal processes with AI-powered contracts.

This is what you’ll be doing
As an Account Executive at Genie AI you’ll be joining us in a dynamic stage of our growth so you’ll face lots of different challenges. Selling an AI product into fast-moving commercial teams is a fascinating challenge, so be prepared to adapt your skillset! Below is what we need you to do, it’s up to you on the how:
- Inbound pipeline generation: Respond to and nurture inbound interest from channels including website enquiries, demo requests, marketing campaigns, and events
- Pipeline generation: Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads and nurture opportunities from open to close, employing excellent CRM hygiene
- High-velocity SaaS sales: Run a fast sales cycle (typically under 30 days) from discovery to close with mid-market businesses, making use of automation in your sales cycle where possible
- Territory ownership: Be the first AE to fully own parts of the EMEA region, building and scaling your territory
- Deal execution: Run demos, present solutions and close five-figure deals with commercial teams
Month 1
- Deeply understand our product, customers and ideal customer profile
- Shadow calls with Ed and the revenue team
- Begin running your own sales calls, using a playbook which we’ll give you
- Close your first deals
- Start building and nurturing your own pipeline
- Adapt your playbook and take full ownership of your territory
- Close around half a dozen deals
- Independently generate pipeline
- Run your own full sales cycles
- Consistently achieve revenue targets by effectively converting inbound demand into closed deals
- Manage and progress a strong inbound sales pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and high conversion rates
- Close multiple deals each month from qualified inbound opportunities
- Play a key role in scaling our EMEA inbound revenue engine by optimising lead conversion and feedback loops with marketing

- Proven and recent success converting inbound leads into qualified opportunities and closed deals
- Experience selling into technology companies or commercial teams
- Comfortable managing sub-30 day sales cycles
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage and advise inbound prospects
- High energy, resilience and motivation to hit (and exceed) quota
- A strong drive to succeed in a startup environment
